About me:

I possess a very strong intelligence. I like jokes and funny stories. I have a very large shop at home and I like to fix and build many things. I am ac widower, and have a 13 year old son that I take good care of. I have several pets- cats and dogs as well as a parrot, Roxie. I went to Ukraine in 1999 for a business trip. I enjoyed the country and the people very much. While I was there, I learned to speak some Russian, to the point that I can travel unassisted without much difficulty. I met a girl there, who was my interpreter. I thought I fell in love and she fell in love with my American passport. Living in America under false pretenses, she quickly became upset with the mistake she made. She ended up going back to Ukraine. That marriage only lasted a few years. I later found the love of my life. I don't think it is something that is easily explained, but both of us worked towards caring and loving each other. The bond and the trust that go together with that kind of deep love continued to grow. My wife became disabled and got more sick. She died recently. Having experienced the contrast of the two different relationships, I know what I want and need in a marriage. Both women were beautiful in different ways. There is an old saying-" beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone" That inner beauty is a lot of different things. Compassion for others, especially the less fortunate. Empathy for others and whatever difficulties they have. Respect for others. I want the closeness of a lifetime partner. I will absolutely know that I am loved and trusted. She will know with no doubts that she is trusted and loved as well as cherished. I am not any kind of rich or wealthy. I work for a living and have a decent home and a plan for a decent retirement. Life here is not difficult and there are many pleasant things. But it is not all vacation! I will have to go to work every day. I can imagine that along with working to become familiar and comfortable with the language as it is spoken and written here, You would like to explore and investigate things here. If you have a career in Ukraine, say as a doctor or lawyer or nurse or any one of a hundred kinds of occupations, you will need to re-certify and study schooling and pass new tests. I don't mean to be discouraging at all! I only wish to show that this first part of our life together will require closeness and trust and depending on each other. It is a little scary to open your heart up ,but the potential vastly outweighs the downside!

Looking for:

I truly enjoy female beauty. I can appreciate the graceful, long legs of a tall willowy girl. I can appreciate the beauty of an athletic lady with smooth toned muscles. I can appreciate the pixie style and poise of a ballerina or gymnast. But I think I love the womanly curves of a well constructed woman. I am a very big and powerfully built guy. Most all women are smaller and petite to me! :D Do you have soft silky hair that I can run my fingers through? Do you have soft, smooth, sensitive lips that can kiss the night away? Do you have big bright eyes that express your feelings, so that I can see my love returned to me? Do you have a beautiful laugh that causes me to tell you funny stories just to her your laugh? Does your delightful voice have a Russian accent that causes me to look for excuses to talk to you, just to her the sound of your voice? Do you have a waist that I can wrap my arms around to never let you go? Are you a little ticklish so that I can get you giggling and you trying to tell me to stop? Can you get Roxie (my parrot) to take a pistachio from you? (it won't be difficult, Roxie loves pistachios). How do you feel about snuggling under a blanket?
